| LS3 GEN-TT VE DONE AND DELIVERED |
We like to be the first here at LS1TURBO headquarters, so when the chance came to get our hands on a brand spanking new HSV GTS complete with the 6.2 litre LS3 engine for a Gen-TT fitment we jumped at it. BTA Motorsports in New South Wales did the fitting and tuning, reporting that the Gen-TT VE BB kit not only bolted straight on the new LS3 without any hassles, but also gave a stonking 580hp at the rear wheels (429rwkw). Apparently traction is now the problem as the big Gen-TT Intercooled Twin Turbocharged LS3 can boil the tyres even in 3rd gear. Good work guys. For pricing on the Gen-TT VE BB kit click here.

| FASTEST STREET TYRED VE IS GEN-TT |
While an 11 second timecard is far from fast for a drag car, this Gen-TT VE Intercooled Twin Turbo HSV R8 set a new national VE series benchmark, but not only that claimed pole position as Australias fastest factory tyre equipped Commodore. Stats of the Run were 11.5 @ 123mph making this HSV one fearsome weapon for a full weight and complete street trim car.

| VE/G8 GEN-TT FIRST TIME AT THE TRACK |
Other than the fitment of our Gen-TT VE Intercooled Twin Turbocharger system this VE/G8 Ute is a pretty stock device. The engine is stock, the gearbox is stock, the stall converter is stock....even the diff gears. It still didnt stop the Gen-TT VE Intercooled Twin Turbocharger system running a lowly 8psi of boost from pushing this 1850kg (4100lb) truck down the quarter mile in 11.25 seconds @ 128mph all through an auto transmission and on radial tyres. Thats midrange punch that simply cant be matched by any other forced induction option!

| GEN-TTR GOES 9s |
For those of you that have been following the progress of our street spec VX drag car you will be happy to hear that the LS1 Drag Nationals 2008 was the place where we our Gen-TTR Holden/Pontiac GTO kit ran a 9.90 @ 144mph second quarter mile pass. A huge thanks to the guys that worked so hard on making our product fit so well and this car go so fast, as every single piece of the turbocharger kit in this 9 second car is EXACTLY the same as the parts we ship to you.....repeat this is an off the shelf Gen-TTR kit and not a shop special!

| GEN-TTR REDEFINING PERFORMANCE IN KUWAIT |
One of our Kuwait dealers TRT Turbo have been mixing it up over there building some Gen-TTR local and Saudi cars to take on some of the imported exotics. This is from the owner of the pictured car 'Jalal' - "On the way the car coming back from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia, just to see the power of the car, there was that Porsche coming from the back of the Gen-tt speeding with at least 200+km/h and when he reached 4-5 cars behind him he pushed on the throttle about 70% only on the 4 gear "A4" and it was about 140 km/h only,,,, he just passed by a few centimeters and in a second the gen-tt was in front of the Porsche by more than 5-6 cars and went on 240-260 km/h. I can't imagine what could happen if it just kicked down to the 3rd gear with full throttle !!! ???

| GEN-TT VE BB BREAKS COVER FOR VE/G8 |
In the search for ever greater power and response from the Gen-IV and LS2 engines our Gen-TT engineers have come up with a top end solution for those wishing to make the ultimate horsepower. Gen-TT VE BB uses top of the line Garrett dual ball bearing turbochargers capable of 450hp worth of airflow from each compressor. The largest Garrett 0.86 T28 turbine housing is also used to ensure that the least possible back pressure is created in the exhaust system. The results from our testing have been staggering with the Gen-TT VE BB kit easily able to exceed power outputs of 600rwhp with boost still in the single digit range. Check our price list for more information.

| GEN-TT TAKES ON ASIA PACIFIC DRIFT TITLES |
New Nealand top ranked Drift Racer Johnny Udy has chosen Gen-TT as the forced induction solution of choice for his Pro Series Monaro/GTO that is competing in the Asian Pacific Drift Championships for the 2008 season. Using a standard 5.7 litre LS1 engine with only a set of upgraded valve springs as the modification, Johnny is blown away by the massive torque and response that only a properly intercooled twin turbocharged solution can deliver. "After some long days and late nights I'm pleased to say we have been able to successfully complete our first test day" Udy tells us, "At first I did have my reservations about running forced induction for this project but after turning a wheel in anger yesterday I am glad I have turned to the dark side! The torque is UNBELIEVABLE and gives the car far more driveablity. We still have a lot of development to go with this setup, but for a first time off the trailer attempt I couldn't be happier."
We will post updates during the season. Good luck from all the management and staff at LS1Turbo Johnny!

| NEW HIGH PERFORMANCE GEN-T TURBOCHARGERS |
Due to increased demand for a wider range of high powered turbochargers a pair of new models make their way into the LS1Turbo product list for the start of 2008. The GTDW3050 is an excellent midrange turbo capable of supplying an easy and simple to fit 500hp due to its T3 flange design and internal wastegate. Upping the ante though is the massive GTDW60100. Designed for a serious alcohol race application we have decided to make the GTDW60100 available to the racing public as a solution to the never ending quest for huge horsepower levels. Both of these new turbochargers feature our precision UK sourced sealing technology to guarantee excellent oil control, and are VSR balanced on the latest generation Turbotechnics turbocharger workstations. In other words, big power, reasonable price, excellent quality, think www.ls1turbo.com.au.

| KUWAIT GEN-TTR GOES 620RWHP THROUGH THE AUTO |
A small update on the TRT Turbo installed Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbo system in Kuwait. Fitted to an LS1 engine and using the factory 4 speed automatic complete with 3000rpm stall converter (which lowers dyno readings) some clever tuning and winding up of the boost to 15psi has seen over 620rwhp being generated with a long and flat torque curve that should surely push this car deep into the 10 second zone. The owner tells us "The car is very fast now, and will spin the tyres hard from a 60mph rolling start". Thats what we like to hear!

| PRESS RELEASE: GEN-TT VE MEETS AND EXCEEDS REQUIREMENTS FOR EURO III AND 2008 ADR TAILPIPE EMISSIONS |
Possibly the most time intensive engineering exercise undertaken by LS1Turbo has been the ADR Tailpipe Emission compliance for the Gen-TT VE Intercooled Twin Turbocharger system on the GM VE/G8 platform. With current standards raising the bar many times over earlier and much simpler emissions levels the reality remains that even totally stock motor vehicles may struggle to meet Euro III emissions in some instances.
Using the extensive ADR testing facilities of Orbital Engineering in Perth Western Australia, and having out own people on the ground in that area - WA Performance Centre - with a VE Clubsport R8 test vehicle, the past eight months have been a constant process of development and engineering to bring to market the very first and fully ADR compliant serious engine modification solution (not just Forced Induction) for the VE Commodore range.
"The process has been long and drawn out teaching our software guys plenty of new lessons along the way" according to LS1 Turbo Engineering Director Keir Wilson "but with an unstopping drive to do what we have been told is quite literally the impossible, we never took our eye off the ball or forgot our basic mission statement for the Gen-TT VE system which was to be fully road legal in every state of Australia...and Euro III, the most important and difficult data we had to gather to meet this objective, is now firmly squared away with a definitive and conclusive pass grade."

| TTVE CLASSIC ADELAIDE - READY TO RACE |
After spending the last 12 months constantly honing and developing our TTVE complete with our new Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbocharger system we are now ready to race in the 2007 Classic Adelaide, one of the worlds great Tarmac Rallies. Once more we will be out there walking the walk.
Substantial modification has been carried out on the car to make it turn better, point in nicely, ride the bumps and absorb road blemishes, and most of all put down its 400rwkw from the GTDW2840 turbochargers in a smooth and fast fashion. With blistering lap times at Mallala, well beyond anything VE related that has ever seen that surface (save for maybe a V8 Supercar?) the last link in the chain was getting the right graphic scheme...a little break from tradition here, but Dean Robinson from http://www.hrt433.com had the answers as usual...which is why he is ALWAYS our first choice for graphics excellence.
With regard to the state of tune and power output we will run in the engine for Classic Adelaide, certainly it is an endurance event run under hot and tough conditions, so we will leave boost low, and with our new GTDW2840 series turbochargers on the Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbocharger system run a conservative 400+rwkw 9psi state of tune like this. Notice the massive bottom end on the dyno graph....220rwkw @ 3000rpm.
The new Bride (pronounced Breed) Brix II race seats fitted up with five point SABELT 3 inch harnesses make sure everything and more importantly everyone stays safe during the event. They almost keep an OEM look to the interior of the VE.
Last but not least time to thank everyone that's helped out along the way and been part of what is without doubt the quickest allround street based VE in the country. Major props to everyone at work, and espcially Helistar for coming on board as our primary backer. Thanks plenty guys....now playtimes over, the race face beckons.

| THE RECORDS KEEP TUMBLING!! |
With a little 346 alloy engine between the towers of our Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbo VX it was time to get back to the race track and hunt down some more records. Already wearing the title of fastest and quickest stock engined LS1 in Australia Gareth was now back to take out yet another record on his way to an eventual 9 second timecard. Rather than take the plunge and convert the VX to an all out drag car plenty has been kept stock (rear end, auto etc) and the prize came with Gareths latest 10.1 @ 144mph pass making us the fastest 4 speed in the land. With plenty more room for improvement over the next couple of months stay tuned in for our upcoming 9 second pass

| GEN-TT REACHES THE UK |
There is a new king on the highways and byways of sunny England now as the Chev Centre in York have just taken delivery of their very own VX SS Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbocharged demontrator. Built in Australia as a completely engineered vehicle with strengthened forged engine, heavy duty transmission modifications, brakes, suspension, and even wheels and tyres, the Chev Centre Gen-TTR has already claimed its fair number of scalps on the English Motorways. Running a mild 10psi of boost pressure through the twin TTR turbos the Chev Centre car pushes just over 550hp at the rear wheels and is capable of out-running even the most exotic European hardware. Contact Ryan Bushell at Chev Centre UK for more information - www.chevcentre.co.uk

| CIRCUIT CAR AT THE DRAGS |
Having retired our Tarmac racing VX Clubsport and onsold it as a daily driven road car to the far north the new owner figured it was time to take the Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbocharged hard hitter out and give it a run down the dragstrip. Looking for all the world like a normal streeter with its warpaint graphics removed and a new quieter full street exhaust in place we were all happy when the times flashed up a 10.9 second pass in the 30 degree (95F) hot conditions. Since the car doesnt comply as a competition drag car the owner was then asked to remove it from the track (having gone faster than 10.99) till the car could be properly tech inspected. Just proves how versatile the Gen-TT/R systems really are. Circuit hero one day, drag strip king the next! |

| GM TRUCK GEN-TT KITS SHIPPING NOW |
With many hundreds of hours spent on engineering, fabrication, then testing, our GM Truck Gen-TT Intercooled Twin Turbocharger system that uses the standard Truck headers to tuck the turbos neatly away under the truck for a totally stealth, and low underbonnet temp experience, is now shipping. Able to be fitted quickly and easily with no cutting to the body of the vehicle, and no interference with the trucks air conditioning and cooling systems Gen-TT Intercooled Twin Turbocharger system for GM Trucks is already a winner. Check the Turbo Kit pages for more information. |

| GM TRUCK GEN-TT TORQUES THE TORQUE |
Big GMC Trucks need a big hit of torque at low rpm to get them moving, so when we had our 1500 series Silverado delivered to begin development we were keen to see exactly how much stronger we could make this big pick-up down low in the revs to give it that all important tyre frying potential off the line. Using our super responsive GTDW2833 series turbochargers that come on boost instantly the moment you kick the throttle, thre result is electric, arming the GM Truck with easy 12 second quarter mile performance. The owner of our development Truck couldnt be more impressed...we will let him explain!
"We flew into Adelaide 7.30 am Saturday morn to pick up our Chevy Silverado. We found out there are 2 ways to wake up early, one by an alarm clock and secondly by a Gen-TT Intercooled Twin Turbo Chev. WOW what a mind blower. After the test drive, was the hard part, to drive back to Melbourne within the speed limit. I did give it a few squirts overtaking and on a few straights, once again MIND BLOWING. What did impress me was the fuel consumption was the same driving home as what it was when we delivered the Chev to Adelaide. The other amazing aspect being caught in Melbourne stop start Saturday nite traffic and the motor just purred, it didn’t miss a beat. We want to Congratulate Martin and his team on such a professional job and for turning the Chev into a RAPTOR"

| GEN-TTR FBODY PUSHES CLOSER TO 1000rwhp |
TRT Turbo in Kuwait have a reputation for building some fast GM cars, so when they saw our F-Body Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbocharger system it was only natural it would end up on the TRT Turbo Kuwait Workshop Trans Am. Complete with a strong 408 cubic inch iron-block engine and all the necessary supporting hardware to get the best from our large 560 series turbochargers the TRT guys slowly climbed up on their boost pressure and tuning till they reeled off 912rwhp at 14psi. At this level though the injectors are well out of flow, and the factory computer is having trouble keeping up with the hardcore airflow capability of the turbochargers. With some new 100lb/hour injectors and a Big Stuff 3 going into place to control them, its only a matter of time before we can bring you the report of our first member of the four digit rear wheel horsepower club. Good work guys! |

GEN-TT BLASTS A NEW WORLD RECORD |
Hot on the heels of DeeJays amazing 10.5 second pass in a Gen-TT equipped stock internal LS1, our own Gareth Norton has wound up the wick and powered to an opposition crushing 10.2 @ 140mph pass at the 2007 LS1 Drag Nationals. Featuring a beefed up factory 4 speed 4L60E auto, stock diff/driveshafts and driveline Gareth found it hard to put down not only the 700hp of the Gen-TT package, but also the brutal mid-range torque that saw the VX require constant throttle adjustment to keep straight. From here on in Gareth reckons a stock engine Gen-TT 9 second pass is on the cards...lets see what happens at the next 'sticky prepped' track meeting!

NEWS FLASH: GEN-TT FBODY BLASTS 730rwhp!
|
For those of you that have been following the progress of our Gen-TT F-Body Intercooled Twin Turbo development program, the time has now come to release power figures from out first stage of testing. Although our engineers had performed all of the necessary calculations to ensure that the power and torque levels of the Gen-TT F-Body would be superior to any other commercially available turbocharger system the real proof of the product comes when it is first evaluated on the dyno. As an initial shakedown procedure then we started with a low 12 psi of boost pressure and performed some 'check runs', during which our Fbody development car produced a mind blowing 730rwhp. Now remember this is on an Aussie load dyno which uses an Eddy Current retarded to measure power, so we would expect a US style inertial dyno to read around 800rwhp for the same combination. Track testing at this stage has shown awesome roll on accleration capable of turning the rear tyres to molten rubber with a floored throttle...in fact Gen-TT Fbody is everything we hoped for and then some!

HP TUNERS CHOOSE GEN-TT |
Chris from HP Tuners had seen most forced induction hardware for LSX powered cars. You would expect this though as he is the guy that cuts the code and writes the software to give us such brilliant tuning tools. He was in for a pleasant surprise though when he decided twin turbo would be the way to replace his current positive displacement supercharger. Lets see what he thinks of the Gen-TT Intercooled twin turbo system - "With the stock cam, and cast manifolds, thru turbo's the car still has a nice exhaust note, anyway with the whoosh of the turbo's spooling to 12psi and the sounds of the BOV's between gears has bought a whole new aspect to driving. And i thought blower whine was cool! .......We're just sorting thru a couple of minor clutch issues and should be hitting the dyno tomorrow for a good workout and what i think will be some impressive numbers! The force of the seat pushing in my back tells me so........We ran the car on the dyno today and it seemed we had the clutch gremlin beat. It made 348rwkw (465rwhp) @ 5200rpm pushing around 9.5psi which about the number these things do......I can tell you already that tire smoke from cruising in 3rd is possible"
Good work Chris and we look forward to seeing your results from the track soon!

GEN-TTR SMASHES RECORDS AT AUTOFEST 2007 |
Fresh on the wave of our successful venture to Summernats Horsepower Heroes competition, we took the Gen-TTR equipped Clubsport to South Australias newest high performance show, the Murray Bridge Autofest. Featuring a dyno competition as well as an array of driving events we decided to enter the Clubsport into the lot and see how it went in a variety of different challenging tasks. First up was the dyno though, and once more Gen-TTR got the job done easily eclipsing its 500+ cubic inch drag engined competition, with an overall outright horsepower win margin of a crushing 60hp. Then it was off to the track, where Gen-TTR excelled by registering the fastest Go to Whoa time of the entire event, showing that not only does it make huge dyno numbers, but the instant response of the intercooled twin turbo system is hard ot beat in real world driving conditions.

GEN-TTR AT HORSEPOWER HEROES |
Well the results are in and ready for viewing.
Our LS1 engined Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbo equipped HSV spent the last week at the Summernats car festival in the Aussie capital Canberra competing in the nations largest dyno shootout - Dyno Dynamics Horsepower Heroes. We are happy with what our Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbo kit achieved -
Highest powered alloy block supercharged/turbocharged LS1/LS2 engine.
Highest powered LS1/LS2 engine on pump fuel.
Third outright highest horsepower in Exhibition Class.
All this and we drove some 1500 miles to and from the event without a hitch, and averaged 29mpg.

GEN-TTR BREAKS COVER |
A new release for both LS1 and LS2 powered vehicles is our new Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbocharger Kit. Built on the highly successful Gen-TT platform, the Gen-TTR option consists of turbochargers with bigger compressors, each capable of moving 480hp worth of air to give some serious top end grunt. Initial testing on an LS1 engine has shown figures in the range of 400 - 420 kilowatts at the back wheels (550 - 580rwhp) with plenty more left in the tank. A great option for big cube engines, or for those that want the very best dyno numbers, not only is Gen-TTR available as an off the shelf kit, its also a straight fit upgrade for existing Gen-TT customers. Send us an email here for more information, and check out the comparison dyno graph here.

GEN-TT PROVES ITSELF IN ENDURANCE RACE
|
Classic Adelaide 2006 provided the ultimate durability test for our Gen-TT Intercooled Twin Turbocharger system. With over four days of pedal to the metal competition covering some 1100km (690 miles) of the scenic South Aussie countryside we plunged in 'boost and all' with our Gen-TT equipped VX R8 HSV Clubsport. There was nothing altered about the Gen-TT kit used, it was simply picked off the shelf and bolted to the car in which form it made 370rwkw (500rwhp) on 9 - 10psi of boost pressure, and gave us the biggest power and torque in a field of cars that numbered over 220 competitors. With the temperature of the four days competition spiralling over 38 degrees Celsius (over 100 degrees Fahrenheit!) the Gen-TT system performed both powerfully and reliably to prove itself as the only GTO twin turbo system that has ever competed on a public stage in a world class competition.
Full event report and a heap of photos coming soon!

GEN-TT WINS PRESTIGIOUS GTO PRIZE IN THE US |
We just received a message from Mike, one of our Gen-TT Customers on the East coast, and here is what he had to tell us -
"Hey Martin,
There was a little (70 or so gtos) get together here in Northern California and thanks to your turbo kit I walked away with a "Best Mechanical" voted by the other gto owners. At first I kept the hood closed, but a few of the guys who knew I had it kept making me pop the hood so I ended up leaving it open. Since all I did was buy it this is really an award for you and your team (for the turbo kit) and Rick (for the great install).
Thanks again,
-Mike" Making over 500rwhp and 560rwtq on a totally stock engine Mikes GTO is a study in how to do it right the first time!

VE Gen-TT Intercooled Twin Turbo Testing now! |
Scheduled for public release in the first half of 2007 our new VE SS fitted with our VE series Gen-TT Intercooled Twin Turbo system has already been testing for several months. New for the VE design is a different layout for the twin turbochargers pushing them lower in the engine bay and giving an extremely stealth approach under the bonnet. Engineering work has so far consisted of in field evaluation that has seen several thousand kilometres of punishing durability work already registered on the L98 Gen-IV engine in extremely hot conditions, and under heavy load. The big question on everyones lips though is 'How does she go?' Surely the answer 'Awesome' wont come as a surprise to you!
Starting off with only 100km on the clock our manual test mule VE SS was a fit example, tuning 235kw at the back wheels on our dyno. Fitted up with the Gen-TT Intercooled twin turbo running at 8psi of boost pressure though this power figure skyrockets to 360rwkw, which is near on 450kw at the crankshaft...but thats only the half of it. A mountain of torque coming in at just over 900Nm is there for the taking anywhere between 2200 and 4500rpm which endows the VE with such tremendous pulling power it has already caused one journalist to comment - "Inching the throttle to the floor for that last quarter and it’s like the car’s been shot in the bum, there’s even more urge, it’s like rolling thunder"
All this and in this preliminary phase we are running through the totally stock exhaust system on the lowest boost possible! Plenty more to come, stay tuned.

NEWSFLASH: GEN-TT STOCK ENGINE 10.5 @ 137mph! |
Bolted onto ‘DeeJays’ famous GM-Motorsport Ripshift testbed VY SV8 Commodore, Gen-TT smashed all existing records for a stock engine Commodore by reeling off a massive 10.563 @ 137.19mph quarter mile run at Calder Raceway. Stock engine you ask? Other than a set of Comp 918 valve springs, DeeJays SV8 has totally standard cylinder heads, camshaft, pistons, rods, and even 3.46 diff gears on a Holden limited slip differential.
Running a totally standard Gen-TT Intercooled twin turbo kit DeeJays Commodore was set to run the minimum 8psi of boost pressure, at which it improved the dyno figures from a previous best of 360rwhp normally aspirated right up to 530rwhp with the Gen-TT system on board. With a huge torque gain all the way from 2000rpm through to 6000rpm we were expecting big things from DeeJays car on the Calder drag strip, and it didn’t disappoint, with some hard-launching expert driving putting both this well known SV8 and the Gen-TT kit into Aussie LS1 folklore. Fastest stock engine LS1 in the world? Just maybe!

NEWS FLASH: Gen-TT Intercooled Twin Turbo breaks cover! |
A long time in the development process Gen-TT our budget priced $6995 twin turbo system was unleashed onto an unsuspecting public at the 2006 LS1 Drag Nationals. Using radial tyres and the lowest boost setting (8psi) the Gen-TT walked off an impressive 11.20 second pass at 120mph, which shows plenty of 10 second potential once we start to wind up the boost and get serious.
