Chevrolet Silverado 5.3 before and after Gen-TT Intercooled Twin Turbocharger system |

We were pretty impressed with the 5.3 litre complete with aftermarket exhaust system and tune cranking out some 250rwhp, but that paled alongside the solid 400+rwhp generated by the Gen-TT Intercooled Twin Turbo system. The best news is the massive torque which is greater than the stock car even off idle, then just sits flat at 500ft/lb. With an extra 70% torque and 60% horsepower this Silverado is an absolute weapon to drive, able to smoke the tyres in second gear rolling on from 40mph. |

Here is a dyno graph from out Gen-TT VE on a totally standard VE Commodore with an aftermarket twin 2.5 inch exhaust system and our local 98 octane (93 US equivalent) pump fuel. This power is generated at just over 8psi of boost pressure, giving the potential for 600rwhp on 12psi or higher settings. |

Our own test car LS2 is totally stock (even the valve springs) other than the fitment of our Gen-TT intercooled twin turbocharger kit. With normal pump gas and a conservative daily driven tune, there is an easy 381rwkw or 500rwhp on offer through the stock LS2 exhaust system. |

Gen-TT 10 Second Power |

Ever wondered how much power it takes to run 10.5 @ 137mph? Well here is the answer, with 'Deejays' worlds fastest stock engined LS1 being put on the dyno a week or so after it came back from its record breaking quarter mile pass. A whopping 429rwkw or 575rwhp at 10psi of boost pressure being delivered on what is considered a 'conservative' load style dyno. Engine mods from factory consist of a set of Comp 918 valve springs, and a FAST inlet manifold/throttle body assembly. Other than that its a straight from factory stocker! |

Summernats results for the Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbo kit -
Highest powered alloy block supercharged/turbocharged LS1/LS2 engine.
Highest powered LS1/LS2 engine on pump fuel.
Third outright highest horsepower in Exhibition Class.
All this and we drove some 1500 miles to and from the event without a hitch, and averaged 29mpg. |

Gen-TT and Gen-TTR Comparison |

A comparison between Gen-TT and Gen-TTR on the same engine shows the big top end power gains from the larger compressor turbochargers with the minimum sacrifice in bottom end torque. This test shows that for lightning off the mark response that Gen-TT has advantages, which for big numbers TTR comes into its own! |

The Fbody Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbo kit has proven to be the single most power productive forced induction kit for the LSX engined F-body ever made. Fitted to a 408 cubic inch stroked LS2 engine with a turbo camshaft our Gen-TTR F-body Intercooled Twin Turbocharger kit powered out over 900rwhp on pump fuel using 16psi of boost pressure to give this particular car enough grunt to push its 3500lb setup deep into the 9 second zone. All that in 120F ambient temperatures and with a conservative tune-up, this shows why Gen-TTR Fbody is THE LSX forced induction solution to be reckoned with. |

GEN-TTR goes 620RWHP through the Auto |

A small update on the TRT Turbo installed Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbo system in Kuwait. Fitted to an LS1 engine and using the factory 4 speed automatic complete with 3000rpm stall converter (which lowers dyno readings) some clever tuning and winding up of the boost to 15psi has seen over 620rwhp being generated with a long and flat torque curve that should surely push this car deep into the 10 second zone. The owner tells us "The car is very fast now, and will spin the tyres hard from a 60mph rolling start". Thats what we like to hear! |

Supplied by a US customer this is the comparison dyno run between the production King Of Torque, the V12 Twin Turbo Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG and a GTO fitted with our Gen-TT Intercooled Twin Turbocharger kit. As you can see the GM + Gen-TT easily dispatches of its 'ten times the price' opposition. Great work! |

Turbo vs Supercharged Comparison |

With identical cars featuring standard engines, the same transmission, and identical final drive ratios it was time for Gen-TT to stack up against a Centrifugal supercharger on the dyno for a Horsepower, Torque and Boost Response shootout. With all testing conducted by an independent workshop without anyone other than their own operators setting up and using the dyno these are the results that they generated. Are we pleased? You betchya! |
